No desenho seguinte foquei-me na ponte 25 de Abril, que propositadamente tinha omitido no desenho anterior dos reservatórios.
Praticamente toda a zona já estava na sombra e então decidi propor-me o desafio da paleta limitada. Desta vez as cores que usei foram o azul ultramarino, carmim alizarino, verde oliva e verde perilene.
Eu sabia que queria fazer as sombras da ponte com o azul e deixei o céu para o fim para ver se o branco resultava. Achei que não, por isso acabei por pintar o céu num tom acastanhado que acabou por dar uma tonalidade mais quente ao desenho.
In the following drawing on the Lx Factory I focused on the bridge, which I purposely omitted from the previous skecth of the reservoirs.
The whole area was already in the shade so I decided to give myself the challenge of the limited pallet. The colors I used this time were ultramarine blue, alizarin carmine, olive green and perilene green.
I knew I wanted to use the blue for the shadows on the bridge, so I left the sky to the end to see if the white of the paper worked well. I thought not, so I ended up painting the sky in a brownish tone that gave a drawing a warmer touch.
