Passo várias vezes por semana neste local e sempre me senti cativado por aqueles barcos como que abandonados em seco. Até que chegou o dia em que não aguentei mais. Procurei uma sombra com um bom ângulo para o desenho, garanti que não ia ser atingido pela rega que estava activa no relvado, e guardei no caderno esta memória.
Vou continuar a passar lá durante algum tempo, mas agora já vou poder dizer: "já desenhei ali".
I pass this place several times a week. I have always felt captivated by those boats lying abandoned in the dry. Until the day came when I could not take it anymore. I stopped, looked for a shade with a good angle for the sketch, making sure that I would not be hit by the water from the active sprinklers on the lawn, and I printed this memory in my sketchbook.
I'll keep passing there for a while, but now I'll be able to say, "I've sketched that."
